You guys should see the movie Drive. Speaking of movies, here’s a little series I did of musical movies (not Musicals though), Hip Hop, Punk Rock, and Reggae are represented. The movies are Wild Style/Beat Street, Suburbia/Class of 1984, and Rockers/The Harder they Come. Now in my opinion one of the movies in each of these paintings is way “cooler” and “more legit” than the other, at least they were in my young mind when i watched them semi regularly as a youth.
